Optimal power flow using archimedes optimizer algorithm

<span>This article proposes a new metaheuristic algorithm called Archimedes optimization (AOA) for solving problems of optimal power flow (OPF) utilizing the renewable energy sources (RES) minimizing different single-objective and multi-objective functions based on minimization fuel cost, losses transmission lines, emission voltage profile improvement. Also, mathematical formulation is introduced by converting function with multiple objectives price weighting parameters into single objective function. effect RES merged OPF problem. Notably, placement yields even more effective solution. AOA was inspired an intriguing physical law known as Archimedes' Principle. To prove effectiveness proposed algorithm, it compared recent algorithms testing them to one standard system IEEE30-bus test system. The superiority proven also applying modified allocation source (RES). results demonstrate that successful efficient than other methods in title resolving problems.</span>
